This Preceptory was constituted in 2003

The Preceptory meets at;
            February Meeting;
            Braintree Masonic Centre, Howard Hall,
            36 Bocking End, Braintree, Essex.
            CM7 9AA.

            July Meeting;
            Orsett Masonic Hall, Rectory Road,
            Orsett, Essex.
            RM16 3EH.
Meeting on;
            4th Tuesday in February

History
            This is a unique Preceptory within the Province as its membership is by invitation only, being the
            current Provincial Prior’s own personal Preceptory. Amongst its members are many high ranking
            members within the Craft and Royal Arch Degrees as well as Heads and other senior Freemasons from
            the other Orders within the Province.

            The crest of the Preceptory consists of the Essex Seaxes (on the left hand side) and the arms of then
            Provincial Grand Master (on the right) mounted within a shield superimposed on the emblem of office
            of a Provincial Prior’s baton and sword in saltire surrounded by a blue ‘’garter’’ with the word Essex in
            gold at the top.
