Provincial Warden of Regalia
Brother Knights I am Knight Carl George, the Provincial Warden of Regalia.
I would like to share with you some thoughts regarding my role as your Warden
of Regalia.
Which includes offering advice to my fellow Knights, as well as helping new
members to our order on the correct regalia to be worn and assist them in
obtaining this if required.
Also to advise and assist Knights when becoming the Eminent Preceptor of their
Preceptory or receiving Provincial appointments or promotions, or indeed Great
Priory Ranks. In other words whenever your Regalia needs to be changed or
updated.
My other role Brother Knights is to also encourage you to let me have any pre-
owned regalia that you no longer need, so that this can be recycled to other
Knights at a reduced cost, with all monies raised going to the Benevolent fund
for the St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital. I am happy to accept regalia for any
masonic order.
The Statue book in sections 165 to 194 outlines the full details of all the correct
regalia which is to be worn by Knights of the Order. I hope that I will be able to
give you guidance on these, as of course they are not just guidelines they are
compulsory.
Brother Knights I would also advise you to ensure that, if you purchase items on
the internet from, say, eBay or from other sources, that the items are in
compliance with the current Great Priory Statutes for regalia of the Order.
OBTAINING YOUR NEW REGALIA
It is important that Knights obtain the items they will need well in advance to
ensure that they are received, checked and are available for the date of their
Installation ceremony, Provincial meeting or Great Priory meeting.
All items of Knight Templar and Malta Regalia can be obtained new or pre owned
from the Provincial Warden of Regalia at competitive prices.
